About DPMAI
The Dyes & Pigments Manufacturers Association of India (DPMAI), established in 1950 (as The Dyestuffs Manufacturers Association of India – DMAI), is the Apex Body representing Dyes, Pigments, Optical Brighteners and Dye Intermediates manufacturers from all over the country, covering all sectors of the Colorants Industry – MSMEs to multinationals.

I am happy to assume office with our new Managing Committee from August 2026. I am pleased to welcome you all.
Current times are really different times! These are difficult and full of global uncertainties.

Upcoming Event – Convention on Colorants – 2027
The 11th International Convention on Colorants will be held on 28th and 29th January 2027 at The Club, Andheri, Mumbai. India This biennial event is organized jointly by Department of Speciality Chemicals Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai and The Dyes and Pigments Manufacturers Association of India (DPMAI), with the support of the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals (DCPC), Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The 2027 convention will have East Asis Symposium (EAS) composed of research scientists and industry representatives from Japan and Taiwan, as a partner and is thus being named as COC–EAS 2027.
